Do I have to pulse the gate signal when using gated trigger mode?
When using Gate on External Input in Time or Encoder trigger mode, the sensor will acquire data at the preset frame rate or encoder spacing ONLY when the gate signal is high (active). For example, if the sensor is to be triggered to continuously scan for one second, the gate signal has to be held high for one second. User starts the sensor and controls when to acquire data by controlling the Gate input state. Typical use case is photocell or proximity sensor signal wired to the Master input.
