What does the timestamp mean?
In Profile Mode
The timestamp corresponds to the start of the exposure time for the profile.
In Surface Mode
The timestamp corresponds to the last profile stamp of the surface.
In case we use Part Detection, the part is marked with the stamp of the last profile stamp in forward direction (last profile not empty). This is the last profile in the forward direction or the first in reverse direction.
What about encoder stamp?
The definition of the encoder value is the same as for the timestamp.
