What does the timestamp mean?
In Profile Mode
The timestamp corresponds to the start of the exposure time for the profile.
In Surface Mode
The timestamp corresponds to the last profile stamp of the surface.
In case we use Part Detection, the part is marked with the stamp on the position of the last profile in forward direction (last profile not empty) plus the GapLength. This is position of the (last profile + GapLength) in the forward direction or the (first profile + GapLength) in reverse direction.
What about encoder stamp?
The definition of the encoder value is the same as for the timestamp.
