Question

How can I configure the sensor so that it starts scanning immediately after power-up?

Answer

When the Autostart option in the Sensor System category under Manage page is checked, the Gocator will start to work as soon as it powers up.

In firmware 3.x the default configuration, transformation and profile template will be loaded.

In firmware 4.x, 5.x and 6.x the default job will be loaded.

Note: When Autostart is checked on a sensor that is supposed to be buddied, it will not buddy with the Main sensor on startup. Autostart must remain unchecked for Buddy sensors to work properly.
