Preventing address conflicts when using Ethernet-based models

The MikroCAD software can't connect to the MikroCAD device. What should I do?

Answer

For sensors with a network connection, for example, the MikroCAD Premium 1.6mm x 1.2mm, address conflicts can prevent connections to the sensor. This may happen if there is an active network connection (WiFi or wired) on the computer to which the scanner is connected. The easiest way to prevent conflicts is to de-activate the network adapters that you do not need:

1. On the Windows taskbar, right-click the network symbol and choose Open Network and Sharing Center to access the network connections. (Windows 7 is shown.)
   
   
    
2. Click on Change adapter settings.
   
   
   
   
3. Right-click on the wireless or wired connection that you do not use, and choose Disable.
