Sharing ODSCAD measurement programs between different devices

Question

Can I use the measurement programs (*.mpr) created by one GFM device on another GFM device?

Answer

The programs are simple text files with an *.mpr extension. They are located in a folder similar to C:\GFM\ODSCAD 6.xE\DATA\MPR\. You can simply copy them to ODSCAD folder of another device.

If the devices are of the same type and the software versions are identical, you can use the programs as they are.

Check that the measuring- and subprograms are existing:

• enter "setup mode"
• load the program file *.mpr
• submenu "Measurement"
• if measuring- and subprograms not existing "take over" current standard measuring- and subprogram
• save the program

In other cases, you may have to adjust the default brightness settings.

You can test the measurement programs offline on saved 3D files using check box "Use stored measurements"
