Gocator is pre-calibrated at the time of manufacture, meaning it delivers engineering units (millimeters) out of the box.
In the web interface, Alignment (firmware 4.x, 5.x, 6.x) or Calibration (firmware 3.x) refers to establishing the position relative to a target or the mounting position of a multiple-sensor system. Encoder information can also be obtained automatically.
