Does the Gocator support explicit and implicit messaging with EtherNet/IP?
Answer
The Gocator supports unconnected or connected explicit messaging (via TCP). As of version 4.1, Gocator supports implicit I/O messaging (via UDP).
Detailed descriptions of the EtherNet/IP are presented in the manual. Some additional examples of integration of the EtherNet/IP and Gocator sensor are explained as well in the manual.
To communicate with a Gocator sensor integrated with EtherNet/IP protocols, you must create a ladder code on the PLC.
